Best NYC-theater-district-worthy venue

TheatreSquared’s impending digs

UK-based Charcoalblue made headlines when it was announced they’d landed the contract for the $200 million performing arts center at the World Trade Center site. Also on the docket for the internationally renowned firm? The new 50,000-square-foot home of TheatreSquared, just off Dickson Street in Fayetteville. Ground broke this June on what’s sure to rank right up there with Moshe Safdie’s Crystal Bridges as far as world-class local architecture goes—and we can’t think of a more fitting tenant than this well-on-its-way-to-world-class theater company.
