There were times, before Petit & Keet’s opening this summer, that we considered making the 10-hour haul to Grayton Beach juuuust for a dish of Louis Petit’s lemony pan-fried chicken and accompanying mound of mashers—a dish that’s been on his Red Bar menu for as long as we’ve been beachin’ on 30A.
