Let’s be clear: This is not the same pot roast our mom used to make. And we love our mom’s pot roast. But this hearty dish from Ciao Baci’s winter menu might just become our go-to plate for staying warm and full as we make our way through the rainy season. The impossibly tender meat of the lamb shank is succulent with just the right amount of citrus from a garnish of lemon gremolata. With a side of scrumptious rosemary-garlic mashed potatoes, we might have to start eating family dinner at Ciao Baci on the regular. (Just kidding, Mom!)
